ELECTRONIC THEATRE SUBMISSIONS

Hardcopy Submission Procedure

Prepare your video submission package and include the following four items:

  1. Include a PAL D1 (720x576 pixel resolution at 25fps) BETACAM SP videotape or Digital File (MPEG/QuickTime/AVI) on DVD-R of your work. In English, label both the videotape/DVD-R and its container with a) contact person's name, b) affiliation, c) address, d) telephone number, e) online ID number, f) title of piece, g) runtime, h) timecode (if appropriate). Only PAL D1 (720x576 pixel resolution at 25fps) BETACAM SP videotape or Digital File (MPEG/QuickTime/AVI) on DVD-R are eligible for the jury review process.
  2. Include 1 (one) hardcopy of the uploaded PDF file describing the work. The instructions on the contents of this file may be found in http://www.eg.org/graphite2003/theatre/mcp/subInstructions.html, which also tells you how to submit it on-line, an additional process separate from this hard-copy submission.
  3. Include a still image that represents your work. This image is required for publications and pre-conference publicity. It is not juried. Make sure to provide a brief caption for your image. Still images must be submitted in digital format (see below).
  4. A signed and dated hardcopy of the Graphite2003 Acceptance Agreement

Digital format requirements

Send one copy of a digital still image. Digital images must be of the highest quality possible, at least 300 dpi at ~8 x 10 cm, pixel resolution of at least 1200 x 1500, TIFF or EPS files, no compression, MAC or PC platforms. Digital images must be placed on a standard CD-ROM only and sent with your submission.

Clearly label the physical medium in English with the contact person's name, telephone number, and online ID number. Send your complete Electronic Theatre entry submission package to:

All materials must be received by Nov 22 2002, 5 pm Eastern Standard Time. Submitted videotapes/digital media and still images will not be returned.
